Tips for Students Admitted to Academic Certificates:

• Admission to a degree program does not imply admission to a graduate academic certificate program.
• Always contact the director of the individual graduate academic certificate for specific requirements for admission to the program. A few of the graduate academic certificate programs do require an admission test score.

If you intend to seek a master's or doctoral degree in addition to a graduate academic certificate or teacher certificate, contact the department office separately for each program you intend to pursue. Contact the departmental office for additional information on admission deadlines and departmental admission materials. 

Second bachelor鈥檚 applicants should submit an application through . Select the Undergraduate Transfer Application and respond 鈥测别蝉鈥� to questions asking if you are seeking a second bachelor鈥檚 degree. Official transcripts are required from every college or university you have attended. The transcripts must show you have earned a bachelor鈥檚 degree from a regionally accredited institution (or equivalent).

Applicants who wish to take courses but do not plan to earn a degree at 黑料网 should apply as a non-degree seeking student. If graduate non-degree seeking applicants are interested in applying hours to a master鈥檚 or doctoral degree, please contact your intended program for details on how many hours they will accept from this status. 

GPA requirement for graduate non-degree seeking is 3.0 on the last 60 hours, or 2.8 overall.

The course(s) taken at 黑料网 in Denton can be used as a transfer course(s) toward your degree program at 黑料网 Dallas, assuming a passing grade was earned. These transferred courses are subject to the use of transfer credit guidelines outlined in your home institution's university catalog. It is recommended that you consult with your academic advisor prior to enrolling in any course you intend to transfer back to your home institution.
